Title:
DC/DC CONVERTER
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2014/141353
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
This DC/DC converter is provided with: a plurality of orthogonal transform circuits (11, 21) that are formed from a full bridge circuit having four switching elements and that transform direct current into alternating current; a plurality of transformers (12, 22) that are provided to each of the plurality of orthogonal transform circuits (11, 21) and to which the primary side coil side and the alternating current side of the orthogonal transform circuits (11, 21) are connected; and a plurality of AC/DC conversion circuits (13, 23) that are provided to each of the plurality of transformers (12, 22), are connected to the secondary side coil side of the plurality of transformers (12, 22), and convert alternating current to direct current. The plurality of orthogonal transform circuits (11, 21) are each connected in series, the plurality of AC/DC conversion circuits (13, 23) are each connected in series, and the ratio of the primary side coil and the secondary side coil of the plurality of transformers (12, 22) is approximately the same. When switching the switching elements in one of the orthogonal transform circuits (11, 21) between on and off, a phase is formed such that at least three of the four switching elements are on.
