Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a corrosion environment monitor device and method with which it is possible to evaluate simply, in a short period of time, and with good precision, the corrosiveness of a surrounding environment. A corrosion environment monitor device (1) according to the present invention comprises one or more airflow paths (3a, 3b, 3c) wherein specimens (2a, 2b, 2c) are placed, and measures the corrosiveness in the surrounding environment from the corrosion state of the specimens (2a, 2b, 2c). The specimens (2a, 2b, 2c), having a region to be measured which is formed using a single metal substance, are placed within one airflow path (3a, 3b, 3c), and the airflow paths (3a, 3b, 3c) are positioned in parallel if there is more than one airflow path (3a, 3b, 3c).
