Abstract:
The present application provides a cross-device authentication method and electronic devices. The method is applied to a first electronic device, and the first electronic device is connected to a second electronic device. The method comprises: the first electronic device receiving a target operation of a user acting on a first interface of the first electronic device, the target operation being used for triggering access to a first service, and the first service being associated with the second electronic device; the first electronic device obtaining a target authentication mode corresponding to the target operation; then, the first electronic device acquiring authentication information according to the target authentication mode; sending an authentication request to the second electronic device, the authentication request comprising authentication information and being used for requesting the second electronic device to perform authentication on the first service; and the second electronic device generating the authentication result after performing authentication on the first service. The method is used for implementing cross-device authentication information acquisition, thereby improving the convenience of an authentication operation.
