Abstract:
This crystal element comprises: an oscillating section having a first surface and a second surface; a flat plate section having a first surface and a second surface, having a thickness greater than that of the oscillating section, and being positioned on the outer edge of the oscillating section when observed in plan view; a fixing section having a first surface and a second surface, having a thickness greater than that of the flat plate section, and being positioned on the outer edge of the flat plate section when observed in plan view; an excitation electrode positioned on the first surface and the second surface of the oscillating section; an on-board electrode positioned on at least one of the first surface and the second surface of the fixing section; and a wiring electrode that electrically connects the excitation electrode to the on-board electrode.
