Abstract:
This cutoff device for a vehicle includes a first conduction path having a first input terminal and a first output terminal, a second conduction path having a second input terminal and a second output terminal, a first current detector capable of detecting an electric current flowing in the first conduction path or the second conduction path, a second current detector capable of detecting an electric current flowing in the first conduction path or the second conduction path, a pyrotechnic breaker capable of an operation that irreversibly cuts off the first conduction path, and a control unit 11 capable of controlling the pyrotechnic breaker to perform the cutoff operation in response to a detected current. The control unit causes the pyrotechnic breaker to execute the cutoff operation when both a first current value obtained from the first detection signal and a second current value obtained from the second detection signal exceed an overcurrent threshold value.
