Abstract:
Disclosed is a DC circuit switchgear having a novel structure that can suppress the generation of arcs with a compact and simple structure. The DC circuit switchgear 10, which is connected between a vehicle battery 12 and a motor-side circuit 14 and cuts off bidirectional currents, comprises: a circuit breaker 16 that cuts off a current; a first voltage holding circuit 26 that is formed by connecting a first diode 30 and a first capacitor 32 in series and is installed in parallel to the circuit breaker 16 to allow electrification from the vehicle battery 12 to the motor-side circuit 14; and a second voltage holding circuit 28 that is formed by connecting a second diode 34 and a second capacitor 36 in series and is provided in parallel to the circuit breaker 16 to allow electrification from the motor-side circuit 14 to the vehicle battery 12.
