Abstract:
The purpose of the invention is to provide a demand and supply adjustment system capable of adjusting energy demand and supply by changing incentive for consumers. The demand and supply adjustment system according to the present invention includes a demand and supply adjustment device for requesting consumers to reduce the energy use amounts, demand and supply arbitration terminals, and a demand and supply arbitration device. The demand and supply arbitration device is connected to the demand and supply adjustment device and the demand and supply arbitration terminals through a communication network so as to be capable of two-way communication, determines target incentive values for the consumers, corresponding to the requests made by the demand and supply adjustment device, in cooperation with the demand and supply adjustment device and requests through the demand and supply arbitration terminal a reduction in the energy use amount from each consumer, the reduction being corresponding to the target incentive value or below, and collectively transfers to the demand and supply adjustment device the possible energy reduction amount in each consumer corresponding to the request by using a response from the demand and supply arbitration terminal. The demand and supply adjustment device and the demand and supply arbitration device dynamically perform demand and supply adjustment while changing the target incentive values.
