Abstract:
A detection method and apparatus, and a mobile robot and a storage medium. The detection method comprises: a mobile robot detects a regional environment by means of a detection sensor to obtain a first regional environment map; determine a target detection point based on the first regional environment map, and generate a first detection path based on the target detection point; in the process of moving according to the first detection path, the mobile robot detects the regional environment by means of the detection sensor to obtain a second regional environment map; when detecting that the detection path executed by the mobile robot ends, the mobile robot takes the end point of the first detection path as the start point of a second detection path, generates the second detection path based on the second regional environment map, and determines a third regional environment map according to the second detection path; circularly execute the operation of determining the regional environment maps until the mobile robot detects that the whole regional environment map is completely drawn. The detection method reduces the time spent for mapping of the mobile robot, and the working efficiency is improved.
