Abstract:
According to the present invention, a cylindrically formed sleeve is fitted around a braided wire. A mounting device (30) is for mounting a cylindrical sleeve (27) to a coaxial cable (20) having the front end of a braided wire (23) exposed ahead of a sheath (24) so as to fit around the braided wire (23), and is provided with an expansion restriction tool (31) which has an expansion restriction part (35) for restricting expansion deformation of the braided wire (23) and which is displaceable in an axial direction relatively to the braided wire (23) in a state where the expansion restriction part (35) is in contact with the outer circumferential surface of the braided wire (23). The expansion restriction tool (31) has a positioning part (36) formed so as to position the sleeve (27) concentrically with the braided wire (23) in a state where the sleeve is disposed ahead of the expansion restriction part (35).
