Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a diaphragm valve that can be reduced in size and weight, can be readily assembled and disassembled, has excellent working efficiency with regards to manufacture and maintenance, and allows the diaphragm to be positioned easily and reliably. [Solution] This invention is provided with: a valve body provided with a channel; a diaphragm; a bonnet for sandwiching the peripheral edge part of the diaphragm with respect to the valve body; an operation mechanism mounted on the bonnet and adapted to raise and lower the diaphragm; and a fixing mechanism for fixing the bonnet and the valve body to each other. The fixing mechanism comprises a clamp member. An annular pressing member for pressing the peripheral edge part of the diaphragm from above is interposed between the diaphragm and the bonnet. A convex part and a concave part are provided to the pressing member. The convex part fits into a cutout formed on the peripheral edge part of the valve body or the diaphragm. The concave part fits with a protruding part formed on the peripheral edge part of the valve body or the diaphragm.
