Abstract:
Disclosed is a control method of a display device. This control method comprises the steps of: identifying a makeup style selected by a user; displaying a facial image of the user when the user's face is photographed through a camera; obtaining makeup information comprising color information, texture information, and highlight degree information for each area of the user's face by analyzing the facial image of the user; calculating, when an area of interest is selected from the facial image of the user, a makeup matching rate between the area of interest and the remaining areas on the basis of a matching database corresponding to the obtained makeup information and the identified makeup style; and displaying a makeup guide for at least one of the area of interest or the remaining areas on the basis of the calculated makeup matching rate.
