Abstract:
In a distributed system configured from a plurality of physical machines, when a multi-stage process, in which an output file output by a first process is input into a second process, is to be executed, a physical machine in which a first virtual machine which executes the first process is to be disposed, a physical machine in which each data block forming the output file is to be stored, and a physical machine in which a second virtual machine which executes the second process is to be disposed are designated on the basis of the relationship between the first process and the second process.
