Abstract:
Disclosed is a double-action cam (10) for a fuel pump, wherein the double-action cam (10) for a fuel pump comprises a camshaft and at least one cam body (110) arranged on the camshaft, the cam body (110) comprising a symmetrically arranged double-action protruding structure (111). The double-action protruding structure (111) comprises a first rise section curve (θ1), a first return section curve (θ5), a second rise section curve (θ1') and a second return section curve (θ5'), wherein the first rise section curve (θ1) of the double-action protruding structure (111) is composed of three section curves, i.e., a forward constant-acceleration section (θ2), a constant-speed section (θ3) and a backward constant-acceleration section (θ4); and the first return section curve (θ5) is composed of three section curves, i.e., a backward constant-acceleration section (θ6), a constant-speed section ( 7) and a forward constant-acceleration section (θ8). Concave arcs (112) with the same radian are formed at connection positions of two protrusions of the double-action protruding structure (111), and the concave arcs (112) can enable a roller (20) moving in cooperation with the cam (10) for a fuel pump to be self-located. The cam (10) for a fuel pump can enable the roller (20) to realize self-locating at the position of the concave arcs (112), thereby preventing the roller (20) and a tappet body (30) connected to the roller (20) from axially deflecting.
