Abstract:
Provided is a drive control device that: calculates a target torque being a target value for the output torque of a motor that drives a vehicle; controls the output torque of the motor such that the output torque matches the target torque; and determines errors during output torque control. An estimated output torque being an estimated value for the actual output torque of the motor is calculated and a torque difference integrated value that approximates the time integrated value for the torque difference between the target torque and the estimated output torque is calculated. If the torque difference integrated value exceeds a determination threshold value set as a constant value, a determination is made that an error has occurred during output torque control.
