Abstract:
In this driving assistance control device (10), a peripheral vehicle recognition unit (11) recognizes the position of a peripheral vehicle (2),w hich is another vehicle located in the periphery of a host vehicle (1). A peripheral vehicle control information acquisition unit (12) acquires peripheral vehicle control information including information on whether the peripheral vehicle (2) is performing travel control involving the use of a high-precision map including road data for each lane. A peripheral vehicle reliability assessment unit (13) assesses travel reliability, which is the reliability of the traveling of the peripheral vehicle (2), on the basis of the peripheral vehicle control information. On the basis of the travel reliability of the peripheral vehicle (2), a driving assistance plan formulation unit (14) formulates a driving assistance plan that will cause the host vehicle (1) to travel together with a peripheral vehicle (2) having as high a travel reliability as possible, or a driving assistance plan that will not cause the host vehicle (1) to travel together with a peripheral vehicle (2) having as low a travel reliability as possible, and controls a driving assistance device (24) of the host vehicle (1) in accordance with the driving assistance plan.
