Abstract:
An aspect of a driving device of the present invention is a driving device for rotating an axle of a vehicle, the driving device comprising: a motor; a transmission device including a speed reducer connected to the motor; a housing accommodating therein the motor and the transmission device; a temperature sensor capable of detecting the temperature of the motor; and a control unit for controlling the motor. Oil to be supplied to the transmission device is accommodated inside the housing. The control unit limits the output of the motor on the basis of the detection result of the temperature sensor.
