Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a dryer capable of drying hair and the like while evenly blowing in a trouble-free manner, without dripping a liquid such as a chemical. [Solution] A dryer (1) having a dryer body (3) on which a nozzle (4) is disposed, wherein: an atomizer (2) for atomizing a liquid such as a chemical inside a liquid container (9), which can be attached to or detached from the dryer body (3), by means of an ultrasonic transducer (30) in an ultrasonic vibration unit (7) is disposed near the nozzle (4); a liquid absorbing body (6) having a jet passage (6A) linked to a nozzle (36) is disposed on the periphery downstream from the nozzle (36), which is disposed downstream from the ultrasonic transducer (30) in a unit casing (31) constituting the ultrasonic vibration unit (7); and fine grooves (37) that extend toward the liquid absorbing body (6) from the ultrasonic transducer (30) are formed on an inner wall (36A). Thus, droplets produced at the inner wall (36A) of the nozzle (36) pass through the fine grooves (37) due to capillary action, and are absorbed by the liquid absorption body (6).
