Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide an egg transfer device which has improved processing ability while keeping the speed of a distribution conveyor at a low level. An egg transfer device 1 transfers, from a multiple-row feed conveyor 3, a plurality of eggs E which are disposed thereon at a first pitch P1 such that the long axes connecting between the sharp ends and the blunt ends of the eggs E are along the Y-direction and which are conveyed by the feed conveyer in the X-direction, to a single-row distribution conveyor 4 which conveys the eggs E along the Y-direction at a second pitch P2 while the long axes are arranged along the Z-direction. The device is configured to, when transferring the eggs E to the distribution conveyor 4, deliver the eggs E to the distribution conveyor 4 by varying the delivery timings of the eggs E.
