Abstract:
Provided is a bandpass-type elastic wave filter device which uses Rayleigh waves, and which is not readily affected by an SH-wave response. In this bandpass-type elastic wave filter device 1, an IDT electrode 3 and a dielectric layer 6 are provided on a piezoelectric substrate 2 including a LiNbO3 layer, and an elastic wave resonator is formed by the IDT electrode 3. The elastic wave resonator uses Rayleigh waves. An SH-wave response excited by the elastic wave resonator is located outside the passband of the elastic wave filter device 1.
