Provided is an electric lock system which is not susceptible to unintentional unlocking from outside, without a loss in usability. Electric locks 210, 220 have the following control modes, a first mode in which unlocking can be performed using any one of an indoor first operation unit 141 and an outdoor second operation unit 142, and a second mode in which unlocking cannot be performed using the unlocking operation of the second operation unit 142 and unlocking can be performed using the unlocking operation of the first operation unit 141. If a responder 300 is present in the reception area of a first communication unit 121 and a second communication unit 122 for at least a prescribed duration, a control unit 110 switches the control mode for the electric locks 210, 220 to the second mode. If the first operation unit 141 is operated when the control mode for the electric locks 210, 220 is set to the second mode, the control unit 110 unlocks the electric locks 210, 220 and switches the control mode for the electric locks 210, 220 from the second mode to the first mode.
