Abstract:
An electric power converter which is capable of suppressing a surge voltage and reducing noises coming out of an input unit of the electric power converter.
This electric power converter is provided with: an inverter circuit (140); a capacitor (514) for smoothing direct current; a capacitor (515) for removing noises; and conductors (564p, 564n), power-side terminals (562p, 562n) of which are connected to the inverter circuit (140) and power supply-side terminals (561p, 561n) of which are connected to a battery (136), and to which the capacitors (514, 515) are connected. With respect to the conductors (564p, 564n), the parasitic inductance (L1) between capacitor terminals (563p, 563n) and capacitor terminals (560p, 560n) is larger than the parasitic inductance (L2) between the capacitor terminals (563p, 563n) and the power-side terminals (562p, 562n).
