Abstract:
A provided electric toothbrush including cylindrical brushes and a protective cap, according to the present invention, comprises: brushes having bristles radially transplanted therein around a rotation axis such that the general outline thereof forms a cylindrical shape; and a protective cap for encasing a part of a side of the brushes in a longitudinal direction. Thus, the electric toothbrush can more effectively remove foreign substances between the teeth by allowing the brushes to rub against the teeth in a vertical direction in the same brushing manner as recommended by a dentist, and can minimize damage to the gums, the neck of teeth, and the lips or the like.
