Abstract:
An electronic device and a method for obtaining a vital sign using the same are provided. The electronic device includes a memory to store instructions, and at least one processor connected to the memory. The instructions, which when executed, configure the at least one processor to receive a sensing signal related to a user's breathing from a sensor, obtain a first pattern related to a change in the respiration of the user over time, and a second pattern related to a change in saturation of peripheral oxygen of the user over time based on the sensing signal, and determine an oxygen delivery time (ODT), based on a comparison between the first pattern and the second pattern.
