Abstract:
An embedded-type hot die forging piston die, comprising an upper die (1) and a lower die (2), which are fitted and connected to each other to form an inner cavity that comprises three parts, i.e. a skirt portion (3), a core portion (4) and a combustion chamber (5). The lower die comprises a core (21), an inner ring (23), an outer ring (24) and a base (22), and said four parts are embedded together, the inner ring and the base being nested in the outer ring from top to bottom, the core being nested in the inner ring, and the base being located directly below the inner ring and the core; contact surfaces of the core, the inner ring, the outer ring and the base are in interference fit, and joint surfaces of the core, the inner ring, the outer ring and the base are each provided with a straight section of a certain length. A flash groove is further provided between the upper die and the lower die and is in communication with the combustion chamber. Such a separation of parts allows for the selection of different materials according to the stress conditions of different parts, which can effectively reduce the stress of the parts of the die that are prone to cracking, prolonging the service life of the die and also facilitating the manufacture of the die.
