Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to a video processing method and apparatus, an electronic device, and a readable storage medium. The method comprises: performing, from a designated video frame position by means of a first thread, a target video editing operation on a video to be processed to acquire target video frames obtained by the performing of the target video editing operation; and in response to a playback instruction, rendering the target video frames by means a second thread, so as to display the target video frames. By performing the target video editing operation in advance on video frames after the designated video frame position, it is ensured that the video frame position on which the target video editing operation is being performed is always ahead of the video frame position of a target video frame that is being displayed, so that the problem of preview stuttering is solved and a preview requirement of a user is ensured; in addition, the target video editing processing and rendering are decoupled and are performed by different threads, so that the problem in a streaming framework that a rendering thread is blocked due to the performing of the target video editing operation is solved, and the preview effect can be improved.
