Abstract:
A position information acquisition unit 62 acquires position information that represents the position of a capsule endoscope when an endoscope image is taken. A trajectory image generation unit 64 generates trajectory image data that represents the trajectory of the capsule endoscope in a subject's body on the basis of the position information. A display processing unit 70 displays a trajectory image. A shape specifying unit 66 specifies a region that has a shape which may obstruct insertion when inserting an insertion unit of the endoscope into the subject's body.
