Abstract:
Provided is an endoscope in which soiling on an assistance light irradiation window can be efficiently removed. In a distal-end part (12d) of an endoscope insertion part, a distal-end surface (56), an objective lens (21) positioned on the distal-end surface (56), a gas/water feed nozzle (25) for jetting a fluid toward the objective lens (21), and an assistance measurement light lens (23) which is positioned on the distal-end surface (56) and which emits assistance measurement light are provided, the assistance measurement light lens (23) being arranged within the range of fluid jetting by the gas/water feed nozzle (25) and between the objective lens (21) and the gas/water nozzle (25).
