Abstract:
The present invention pertains to the field of transportation and relates to electric actuators for vehicles which are supplied from a DC circuit. This invention may be used for electric actuators in electrical load-lifting devices such as lifts or lifting cranes. The electric actuator of the present invention includes a DC propulsion motor (6) having a voltage regulator serially connected thereto. The voltage regulator is made in the shape of an electrical circuit that comprises two inverters (1, 5) connected to each other by the AC outputs and through a transformer (4) having an adjustable transformation ratio. The DC outputs of one inverter (1) are connected to the power supply circuit (2, 3), while that of the second inverter (5) are connected to the DC propulsion motor (6). The inverters are further designed for operation in a rectifying mode since rectifiers are included in their circuits. This invention provides an operation mode in which the current of the propulsion motor, during the energy recovering mode, is not transmitted by pulses but directly so as to improve the utility coefficient of the recovered energy transmission.
