Title:
ENGINE STARTER DEVICE, AND ENGINE STARTER METHOD
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2011/102369
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Disclosed is an engine starter device that starts an engine that is mounted in a vehicle, the device comprising a starter means, an acquisition means, a memory means, a prohibition means, and an engine control means. The starter means starts the engine in response to a wireless signal from a remote controller. The acquisition means acquires authentication results of a keycode that is stored in a vehicle key that is in a user's possession. When the acquisition means acquires an authentication result after the engine is started by the starter means that the keycode authentication has failed, the memory means stores failure information that indicates that the authentication has failed. When the failure information is stored in the memory means, the prohibition means prohibits the engine from being started by the starter means. The engine control means avoids the driving of the engine being interrupted even when the acquisition means acquires the authentication result after the starting of the engine by the starter means that the keycode authentication has failed.
