Abstract:
The present disclosure addresses the problem of accurately estimating whether or not a plurality of people are in close proximity to one another in a space of interest. An estimation system (1) comprises a first estimation unit (12) and a second estimation unit (13). The first estimation unit (12) estimates the three-dimensional positions of the heads of a plurality of people in a space of interest, on the basis of a heat distribution including a plurality of heat sources detected by an infrared sensor (2). The second estimation unit (13) estimates whether or not the plurality of people are in close proximity to one another on the basis of data of the three-dimensional positions estimated by the first estimation unit (12).
