Abstract:
This evaluation device, for evaluating the encoding quality of encoded data of an image for a first viewpoint in a multi-viewpoint image, is provided with an evaluation unit which evaluates the encoding quality of encoded data associated with the first viewpoint, by associating: pixel values of an original image for the first viewpoint; pixel values obtained from encoded data associated with the first viewpoint; pixel values of the original image for a second viewpoint different from the first viewpoint; and pixel values obtained from encoded data associated with the second viewpoint.
