Abstract:

[Problem] The purpose of the present invention is to provide a fabric folding device which is capable of performing multiple types of foldings and does not waste space when installed. The purpose of the present invention is also to provide a fabric folding device which does not require a left-right pair of French fold gauges. [Solution] A fabric folding device including: a first folding unit that is capable of folding a fabric having a longitudinal direction along the direction of transport and a width direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction at a position that divides the longitudinal direction into two or at positions that divide the longitudinal direction into three; and a rotation means which is capable of rotating the direction of transport of the fabric folded by the first folding unit from the longitudinal direction to the width direction to transport the fabric from a forward direction to a rearward direction to further fold the fabric.
