Abstract:
A film capacitor comprises a film laminate obtained by laminating dielectric films while inverting every other film, and a first metal electrode and a second metal electrode formed on respective end surfaces of a pair of end surfaces of the film laminate. A metal layer has connecting metal layers connecting a common metal layer and a strip-shaped metal layer. The first connecting metal layer of the connecting metal layers is directly connected to the common metal layer and extends from the common metal layer in the first direction. The second connecting metal layer is directly connected to the first connecting metal layer and extends in the second direction from the first connecting metal layer. The third connecting metal layer is directly connected to the second connecting metal layer, extends in the first direction from the second connecting metal layer, and is directly connected to the strip-shaped metal layer.
