Abstract:
An example of a filtered cigarette (10A) produced by this production method has a plurality of filter openings (24) formed in a plain filter (14), a plurality of paper openings (26) formed in a tipping paper (16), and an annular first groove (22) formed on the outer periphery of the plain filter (14); and the first groove (22) constitutes a linking path (20) linking the filter openings (24) and the paper openings (26) between the plain filter (14) and the tipping paper (16). The paper openings (26) are positioned in order to open in the mouth of a user when smoking the filtered cigarette (10A).
