Abstract:
Provided is a flight path prediction method for highly accurately predicting the flight path of a glide vehicle. A model database (350) stores a plurality of flight path models. A ground system (340) references the model database (350) while using, as a reference point, launch detection information of a projectile (520) detected by a surveillance satellite (100-0), analyzes projectile surveillance information measured by a subsequent surveillance satellite (100-1), eliminates non-conforming flight path models, analyzes projectile surveillance information measured by the next subsequent surveillance satellite (100-2), and repeats the process of eliminating non-conforming flight path models. The ground system (340) determines a flight path model that has not been eliminated to be a provisional flight path prediction model. On the basis of the projectile surveillance information measured by a plurality of subsequent surveillance satellites (100-1, 100-2, etc.) subsequent to surveillance satellite (100-0), the ground system (340) corrects the amount of deviation from the provisional flight path prediction model, and predicts the flight path leading up to impact of the projectile (520).
