Abstract:
In order to provide a force sense display device and a force sense display method of a medical robot system, with which it is easy to improve the accuracy and safety of operation in the medial robot system, a force sense display device (50) of a medial robot system (1) displays external force acting on at least one of a surgical instrument (14) and a slave device (10A, 10B) supporting the surgical instrument such that the external force is perceptible by an operator. The force sense display device is provided with an input unit (51), an image generation unit (53), and an output unit (54), and is configured such that: measurement signals of the external force measured at two or more points of the at least one of the surgical instrument and the slave device are inputted to the input unit; on the basis of the measurement signals, the image generation unit creates, in a second display area (63) different from a first display area (61) for displaying information relating to the operation of the surgical instrument, image information displaying, as an image, information of the external force while associating the information with the points at which the external force is measured; and the output unit outputs the created image information to the display unit (60) for displaying the image information.
