Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of increasing foreign metal detection accuracy. To this end, a foreign metal detection device 14A is equipped with: a sensor unit S which has at least one antenna coil L3 that receives a magnetic field or electric current and generates a vibration signal Vb; an integrated circuit 144 for obtaining an integrated value IV of a waveform of a signal Vd that corresponds to the vibration signal Vb; and a determination circuit 145 for determining whether there is a foreign metal near the antenna coil L3, on the basis of this integrated value IV and a reference integrated value CIV, which is the integrated value IV when there is not a foreign metal nearby. The integrated value IV and the reference integrated value CIV are obtained by integrating waveforms of the same wavenumber.
