A game apparatus comprising a base unit, input unit, and display unit which are independent of each other. These units are easily replaceable, and are usable as units common among other game machines of the stand-up type, sit-down type, etc. The game apparatus comprises a base unit (10), an input unit (40), and a display unit (70). These have been assembled so that they can be demounted independently. The base unit (10) has, formed on the top thereof, first guide parts (11A) and (11B) capable of guiding the input unit (40) and second guide parts (12A) and (12B) capable of guiding the display unit (70). The display unit (70) comprises a display part (71) and a support part (72) supporting the display part (71). The support part (72) has a contact surface (75) on its front side, the surface (75) being in contact with the back side of the input unit (40). At least part of the bottom surface of the display part (71) is supported on the top of the input unit (40).
