Abstract:
In this gas chromatograph, a correlation storage unit stores the correlation between the temperature at a specific position on a plate-like column, a temperature outside a column cartridge, and the average temperature of the entire plate-like column. When information about the temperature at the specific position on the plate-like column and the temperature outside the column cartridge is obtained, the average temperature of the entire plate-like column is determined on the basis of the obtained information and the correlation stored in the correlation storage unit. The output of a heater is controlled so as to adjust the average temperature to a prescribed temperature.
