Abstract:
Provided is a Ti-Al alloy casting method that, by providing a graphite nozzle for bottom tapping capable of greatly increasing the overall quality of a cast product, including surface quality and the like, also taking composition defects into account, and controlling Al concentration as well as using the nozzle, is capable of greatly increasing overall quality, also taking composition defects into account. In the graphite nozzle for bottom tapping (5) provided to the bottom portion of a crucible (2) used when tapping molten metal (M) into a casting mold (4) and casting an ingot (S), a taper T of an angle θ of 2.5 to 8° is applied to a flow path (6) that is the inside of the graphite nozzle for bottom tapping (5) and through which the molten metal (M) passes.
