Abstract:
The present invention relates to the technical field of slender machining processing. Disclosed are a grinding machine for the surface of a slender object and a grinding method of the grinding machine. The slender object is conveyed between a conveyor wheel and a bearing member by means of a feeding mechanism, one end and/or both ends of the slender object are exposed to the bearing member, and the grinding mechanism grinds a specified position of the slender object located between the conveyor wheel and the bearing member in the length direction of the slender object. By setting a positioning function of a conveyor roller, which is capable of both conveying and fixing, during the grinding of the slender object, the present invention solves the problem in the prior art that force of a gripper is improper or excessive during gripping because a slender object is too thin and too long, resulting in that grinding is inaccurate or even a slender material is scrapped and raw materials are wasted.
