Abstract:

A hardware overvoltage breakaway circuit comprises a breakaway relay (1) connected in series between an AC power network and a PFC circuit (3) of the power supply module, and a voltage detection circuit (2) which is connected between the AC power network and the breakaway relay (1) to sample a voltage across the AC power network at its first sampling terminal and is connected with the control terminal of breakaway relay at its output so as to disconnect the breakaway relay (1) when the voltage across AC power network is too high and to connect the breakaway relay (1) when the voltage across AC power network is normal.
