Abstract:
A high-thermal-conductivity magnesium alloy containing a high-solid-solubility rare earth element and a preparation method therefor. The high-thermal-conductivity magnesium alloy comprises: RE, wherein the mass fraction of RE in the high-thermal-conductivity magnesium alloy is 4%-16%, and the ultimate solid solubility in magnesium is greater than or equal to 0.8 at.%; Al, the atomic ratio of Al to RE being 0.3-4; and the remainder is Mg and unavoidable impurities. The microstructure of the high-heat-conductivity magnesium alloy comprises a first phase and a second phase, the first phase comprises a Mg matrix and RE which is solid-dissolved in the magnesium matrix, the atomic number percentage of RE which is solid-dissolved in the magnesium matrix in the first phase is 0.05-0.2%, the second phase comprises an Mg-RE phase and an Al-RE phase, and the heat conductivity of the high-heat-conductivity magnesium alloy at room temperature is greater than or equal to 100W/(m·K). Compared to existing magnesium alloys which contain a high-solid-solubility rare earth element, the magnesium alloy provided herein has obviously improved thermal conductivity.
