Abstract:

Provided is a hollow fiber membrane blood purifying device (1) comprising a cylindrical container (2), a hollow fiber membrane bundle (3), a potting resin fixing portion (4) that embeds and fixes the hollow fiber membrane bundle 3 at both ends (2a, 2b) of the cylindrical container (2), a header (5) that has a nozzle (6), and a port (7), wherein the device further comprises a structure in which the header (5) and the cylindrical container (2) are welded in at least two regions over the entire circumference. The inner face of the header (5) is in contact with a potting resin fixing portion cut face (4S) from the potting resin fixing portion (4), for which the sections in the longitudinal direction of the cylindrical container (2) further to the outside than the end faces of both ends (2a, 2b) of the cylindrical container (2) have been removed, and the potting resin fixing portion cut face (4S) is in a compressive deformed state.
