Abstract:
This hood structure for an automobile comprises an outer panel 4, an inner panel 20, a hinge member 3, and a hinge reinforcing plate 60. The inner panel 20 has a groove bottom wall 23 which opposes the lower surface of the outer panel 4 with a gap therebetween, and an outer inclined wall 24 which continues from the groove bottom wall 23 and inclines with respect to the groove bottom wall 23. This hood structure for an automobile comprises: a plurality of first joining parts 50a, 50b where the groove bottom wall 23 of the inner panel 20, the hinge member 3, and the hinge reinforcing plate 60 are joined; and a plurality of second joining parts 56a, 56b where the outer inclined wall 24 of the inner panel 20 and the hinge reinforcing plate 60 are spot welded. One between the first joining parts 50a, 50b positioned most forward in the vehicle front-rear direction, and one between the plurality of second joining parts 56a, 56b are positionally aligned in the vehicle front-rear direction.
