Abstract:
Hybrid travel regeneration (S13) is started when an accelerator pedal is released (S11) and a brake pedal is depressed (S12). During hybrid travel regeneration, if a vehicle speed (VSP) is in a low vehicle speed range (in which the frequency of occurrence of regenerative braking is high and the effect of regeneration efficiency improvement by disengaging a clutch is high) below a set vehicle speed (VSPs), the clutch is disengaged to transition to electric travel regeneration (S15, S16, S18), while a dragging deceleration component (Gd) of an engine and a continuously variable transmission is added to regenerative braking force (S17, S19). However, in a high vehicle speed range such that VSP ≥ VSPs during hybrid travel regeneration, the hybrid travel regeneration (S13) is continued without disengaging the clutch (S15, S18) so as to prioritize the protection of an engine starter motor.
