Abstract:
The present invention provides an image capturing device for providing an image capturing device (200) and an image capturing system (1) better suited to capturing images in the oral cavity, the image capturing device including: a main body formed into an approximately columnar shape having a prescribed length between a base end and a leading end thereof, the main body being configured such that the longitudinal direction of the main body follows the direction in which the main body is inserted into the oral cavity; a grip to be grasped by a user, the grip being configured to be disposed on the same line as the main body on the base end side of the main body; a camera for capturing a subject image on the basis of reflected light that is radiated from a light source and reflected by the oral cavity, the camera being configured to be disposed on the same line as the main body either inside the main body or closer to the base end than the main body; and a display for displaying the subject image captured by the camera, the display being configured to be disposed on the same line as the main body.
