Abstract:
In this image capturing system, an image transmission circuit outputs, to a signal line, image data in a first mode. A signal receiving circuit receives, from an image receiving unit, a clock control signal for adjusting a camera clock frequency in a second mode. A signal output circuit outputs, to the signal line, a first potential and the clock control signal. The first potential corresponds to a level that is not included in a signal level range of the image data output to the signal line. When a communication control circuit detects the first potential in the first mode, the communication control circuit switches a communication mode from the first mode to the second mode.
