Abstract:
[Problem] To prevent natural light and light from a light source from entering a transistor in a pixel even when a transmission part is provided. [Solution] This image display apparatus is provided with a plurality of pixels that are arranged in a two-dimensional direction. The plurality of pixels have: a first pixel region having pixels including a first region that emits light and a second region that transmits visible light; a second pixel region arranged around the first pixel region, the second pixel region having pixels that emit light in an area greater than the light-emitting area of the pixels in the first pixel region; and a light-blocking layer that blocks light from reaching transistors arranged in the second region.
