Abstract:
Provided is an image formation device including: an image formation unit which forms a pattern image on a recording material; an image read unit which reads the pattern image formed on the recording material by the image formation unit; and a gradation correction unit which calculates a halftone dot area characteristic in accordance with concentration of the pattern image which has been read by the image read unit and executes a gradation correction of the image formation unit in accordance with the halftone dot area characteristic.
